YPG Little Big Mouth List

What's All The "Buzz" About the YPG Little Big Mouth Lists?

What is the Little Big Mouth List?

The Little Big Mouth List is a collection of YPG members who want to receive galleys and finished books. In turn, they will read and recommend the books to others, creating a great "buzz" for a book.

What are the benefits of using the YPG Little Big Mouth List to market/publicize a title?

Members on the LBM lists must be members of The Young to Publishing Group (YPG)- an initiative of the Association of American Publishers (AAP) that strives to give entry-level and junior industry employees a chance to build a community outside of their own publishing house and to educate themselves about the book publishing industry as a whole.

Thus, when you choose a list appropriate to your book, you are targeting the exact people you want to market to-people who will actually read and recommend your book!

Which lists can I choose from?

How do I use the list to market/publicize my books? Send an email to kly@publishers.org and indicate which list(s) you would like. We will compile the requested information and email you an excel document. All you have to do then is mail out the books!

What if I don't have enough books for everyone on the list? Send them to as many as you can! As the lists will probably arrive alphabetically, try not to just send it to the first ones on the list (they'll get everything and the W-Z people will get zilch!) Mix it up a little.

I still have questions. Who can I contact? Feel free to email Katie Ly at kly@publishers.org.
