AAP representatives and local publishers in Hong Kong met with the government’s Commerce and Economic Development Bureau last week—the first in a series of meetings designed to inform the government’s legislative and regulatory amendment process related to protection of works in the digital environment. AAP will join with local colleagues, international publishing groups and other copyright-dependent industries to monitor and comment on the process as it unfolds.
